We admit it sounds a bit like a 2008 indie-rock album (and anyone who knows the song Stolen by Dashboard Confessional may find this strangely familiar), but there is a very specific reason those words became the sentiment for this entire wedding.

When your relationship has spanned three continents, multiple time zones, and too many logins to immi.gov.au to count, the road ahead sometimes looks impossibly long. For the better part of our history, we spent our time apart, putting in a ridiculous amount of effort just to get to each other.
